Company to showcase its extensive line of consumer and industrial LED lighting and smart ag-tech products.
Boston, MA, March 22, 2019 – VividGro, a leader in agricultural technology for consumer and commercial applications, is exhibiting its complete line of indoor LED lighting ideal for cannabis growers at the 2019 NECANN Boston Conference, Booth #138 in the Hynes Convention Center.
Pointing to the increased interest in indoor grow technologies in the New England region, Randy Shipley, VividGro Vice President of Sales, explained, “New England is now a hotbed of activity thanks to the recent legislation changes to the cannabis industry.”
“We’re seeing a dramatic increase in demand from both the home grower movement as well as large-scale indoor grow operations. As cannabis growers are looking to maximize their yields, while optimize energy efficiency, our lighting and smart farm solutions will continue to shine over the competition,” declared Shipley.
VividGro will be highlighting its line of LED lighting and “intelligent farm” products at this year’s show. Following are product descriptions:
GroBar is a bright, cool and lightweight, LED lighting system that allows for flexible installation. Constructed from a robust polymer the GroBar is perfect for any environment, wet or dry.
GroBar X leverages the same high quality LED light source, packaged in a lightweight, aluminum fixture, designed for easy installation in vertical and free-hanging applications. The lightweight, aluminum fixture ensures long life and the decreased weight and slim-fitting design provides uniform coverage across the canopy with no hot spots – increasing yields. Energy efficient, the GroBar X gives off extremely low heat, allowing plants to be inches away from the light source for maximum efficiency. An easy to clean acrylic lens protects the LEDs against dust and sprays. The GroBar X is the light engine that enables our full line of GroMax and FlowerMax fixture.
GrowMax offers a powerful LED fixture ideal for replacing standard CMH, fluorescent and metal halide bulbs. Bright, cool, and even touchable, the high quality light is ideal for home use or commercial environments.
FlowerMax combines customizable configurations of highly efficient GroBar X channels for maximum PPFD and yields. FlowerMax provides uniform coverage across the canopy, with no hot spots, while significantly reducing cost of A/C in up front and ongoing operations.
GroNet is an “intelligent farm” platform that features sensing, monitoring, alerting and automation (SMAA) in a low-cost, end-to-end solution, powered by the Internet of Things (IoT).
Underscoring VividGro’s commitment to leading the agriculture technology revolution, VividGro’s Shipley added, “GroNet serves as the brain to our intelligent farm strategy. We’ve developed software and hardware, such as sensors and photometric equipment, to measure environmental conditions critical to growing crops. GroNet develops algorithms to determine and automate predictive and corrective actions, while on-going data analysis will enable growers to continually optimize conditions and improve yields.”
In addition to a major booth presence, VividGro executives will be participating in the following breakout sessions:
Friday, March 22nd; 3 – 3:50 PM; Business Track 1 (Room 102) Randy Shipley, VividGro VP of Sales Deal Terms for Win / Win With Founders and Investors – getting paid equitably along with checks and balances are key to having a successful long term relationship between the entrepreneurs and investors.
